For All who Died too Soon – 1 Minute’s Silence
At 3:15 today We are having a special prayer Service in Neilstown Parish Church “For all our loved ones who died too soon” Remembering those precious children who have died during or after birth and all our beloved friends, family members or loved ones who were taken too soon either through tragedy, accident or illness.
All are welcome and spread the invite. But if you can not make it we are asking & encouraging everyone, everywhere to stop for 1 minute’s silence at 3:15pm that day, remember your own loved one’s who have gone before us and, in a gesture of support and solidarity for all those feeling the pain of loss, read this little reflection.
The world may never notice
If a Snowdrop doesn’t bloom,
Or even pause to wonder
If the petals fall too soon.
But every life that ever forms,
Or ever comes to be,
Touches the world in some small way
For all eternity.
The one we longed for
Was swiftly here and gone.
But the love that was then planted
Is a light that still shines on.
